Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Demir Coaching ("we," "us") collects through demircoaching.com and the client portal, how it is used, and the choices available to you. It is a practical description of our current systems and practices, not a substitute for legal advice.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Name, email address, and phone number (if provided) when you submit an application or contact us.
  • Application details you choose to share, such as your coaching goals, program interest, and experience level.
  • Account and authentication information (email and password) when you create a client portal account.
  • Coaching-related information you and your coach exchange, including training plans, nutrition plans, check-in submissions, progress notes, and direct messages within the portal.
  • Membership and payment status (such as which program you are enrolled in, payment status, and subscription state). We do not collect or store full payment card numbers — see "Payment Processing" below.

If you arrive from an advertisement or marketing link, we set one first-party cookie to remember which campaign referred you (for example, its source and campaign name), so that if you later apply for coaching we can tell which marketing effort it came from. This cookie stores only the campaign information already visible in that link's own web address — never your name, email, or any other personal detail — and expires after 90 days.

We do not currently run analytics or advertising scripts (such as Google Analytics or a Meta/Facebook pixel) on this site. If we enable one in the future, this policy will be updated first, and — where required by law for your location — we will provide appropriate notice or request consent before it runs.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to operate the coaching service: to review and respond to applications, deliver training and nutrition programming, communicate with you, process payments, maintain your client portal account, and provide client support.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service Providers

We rely on third-party service providers to operate this site and the coaching service:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing (see "Payment Processing" below).
  • Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and secure storage of your account and coaching data.

These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually and technically restricted in how they may use it.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you pay for a program, your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout — Demir Coaching does not receive, transmit, or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC at any point.

We store only payment-related references and status information necessary to manage your membership, such as your payment status, subscription state, and identifiers Stripe provides for our records (for example, a checkout session or subscription reference). Refer to Stripe's own privacy policy for how Stripe itself handles your payment data.

Data Retention

We retain account, coaching, and payment-status information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, primarily to maintain accurate client and business records and to meet basic accounting and legal recordkeeping needs. We have not yet finalized a fixed retention schedule for every data category, but we do not retain data indefinitely without purpose.

Account & Client Records

Your training plans, nutrition plans, check-in history, progress notes, and messages are maintained as part of your client record so your coach can track your progress over time and provide continuity of coaching. This information is visible to you and your coach; it is not shared publicly.

Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures — including access controls, encrypted connections, and restricted database permissions — to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices & Rights

You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legitimate business and recordkeeping needs (for example, records we must retain for payment or accounting purposes). We will respond to reasonable requests in a reasonable timeframe.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California privacy law depending on whether and how those laws apply to a business of our size and activities; we have not independently verified whether those thresholds are met. Regardless, you are welcome to contact us with any access, correction, or deletion request, and we will address it in good faith.

Children & Minors

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our minimum-age policy for coaching clients has not yet been formally defined.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or the service change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here.
